Dendritic Opal Pendant — Handmade Sterling Silver, Twisted Wire Frame, One of a Kind

Some stones are pretty. This one has a story written inside it.

Those dark branching patterns aren’t painted on — they’re manganese oxide dendrites that crystallized inside the opal as mineral-rich water seeped through the stone over millions of years. Nature basically drew a tiny forest in there and said “you’re welcome.”

I set it in a twisted sterling wire frame with a dark patina finish and a textured bail — the kind of setting that feels like it belongs to the stone rather than just holding it. The back is closed and finished with the same hand-hammered texture. Black leather cord included.
