Somewhere, a frog has absolutely no intention of minding its own business. 🐸
Local Pond Menace features a piece of deep green sea glass framed in sterling silver, with a dimensional little frog scrambling across the front and a tiny silver flower tucked near the top. The irregular sea glass, scalloped bezel edge, botanical details, and gloriously nosy frog turn the whole thing into a miniature pond scene.
The green shifts beautifully with the light—from dark, almost forest green to a much brighter translucent green when the sun hits it. Because apparently even the local menace deserves dramatic lighting.
Handmade in sterling silver and finished front and back, including a subtly textured back with my maker’s mark. The substantial bail accommodates the included black cord and gives the pendant a slightly modern edge against all that tiny amphibian nonsense.
